Michelle!

I'm a trainer, coach, educator and teacher of exercise, movement and yoga. My approach is to offer you practices to help support a thriving life, mind and body.

As a personal trainer and yoga therapeutic specialist I have spent years working with my clients in private sessions. I have watched my them go from tired, unfocused exercise and sporadic yoga practices to vibrant strength training, practicing yoga that they truly enjoy, and using recovery tools and techniques to support their exercise and overall wellbeing.

My Resilient Strength workshop offers you the information and strategies you would receive in a private training session, but in the comfort of your home. Not only will you experience resilient strength - you'll learn HOW to repeat and evolve this type of practice, learning tools and techniques and the WHY behind all this.

what do I need for this?

- an exercise mat if you're on a hard floor

- a set of light, medium and heavy dumbbells, kettlebells or resistance bands

- a notebook or training journal (analog or digital!)

- have some wall space available - if you don't have wall space, try to have a chair available to you. 

how can I be ready for this? What if i'm not strong or don't have all these props?

You don't need to be super strong to get strong. The workshop is for “all levels” meaning, come as you are and you will learn how to adapt to your needs along the way. 

Still want to feel ready? After securing your spot for the workshop, you’ll receive an email from me with ideas on how you can prepare to get the most out of our time together.

If you don't have all the props, no worries! Finding alternatives with items around the house is 100% okay (think - heavy laundry detergent bottle vs a dumbbell). 

Come with questions! I'm happy to answer them. 

It is strongly recommended that you are injury-free (or cleared by your medical provider to exercise) and are able to get down to the floor and back up again for exercise.

what specifically will we be doing?

Unlike a traditional “work out” this workshop will include movement, skills building, strategies and know-how and some time to reflect on how you're feeling. And yes there will be a Q&A at the end!

Be ready (and dressed) to move as we will have a warm up and some strength practices. The movement and why's behind specific movements will be interwoven. The actual workout won't be very long, nor tiring. It is built to leave you feeling uplifted and energized.

These easeful practices are  engaging, meaningful, and dare I say fun? The final few minutes are for Q&As.

We will building body awareness, tissue resilience and stress reduction. You'll learn recovery practices that can be done after intense exercise or busy weeks!

what if I can't attend live?

I'm recording this and the workshop includes the playback! You'll have access to the video playback for 2 months to repeat and learn. 

And everyone who attends will receive a pdf knowledge sheet with practices you'll be learning from the workshop.

Email any of your strength and exercise questions up to 24 hours before the workshop and I can answer them for the recording.
